But uhm. I have a stupid question. A really stupid one.


I haven't really been following the manga for long. I just started reading it when the anime ended, beginning with the chapter where the anime stopped [just before the Cross Marian thing..] So I'm not really sure about this, but is Noise Marie a girl? 'Cause in this chapter both Kanda and the Akuma refer to her as a female.. I though Marie was a male? I got that from the anime, of course, obviously.

So.. so.. Marie is a guy, right? And this was just a simple typo.. ahahahah.. -sweatdrop-

Anyway, enough about that unknown sex of Marie. We now go to th reason why I almost forgot to update. :D

Just after the Prince of Tennis manga ended, I began to drift away from the fandom, in search of a new one. I didn't stick around to wait for the semi-finals of the Nationals Tournament, seeing as I already knew what was going to happen. Also, the few episodes of it that I did see made me cringe and rethink my decision to be a patient little fangirl and wait it out. [I saw Fuji's match with Shiraishi, MomoKai match and Kawamura's]

Disappointed at how [rushed] everything seemed, I started looking for newer [slashy] fandoms and came up with Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn. Yes, I do know the proper name of that series. I just prefer the shorter one. :D

Anyway, so I drifted to the Reborn fandom and at once fell in love with 8059 [which actually later morphed into Ry59, then 1859, then 5927, then back to 8059]. I followed both manga and anime to the latest, and when I had finished updating myself, I got the urge to add another fandom to the list ---- which later became Gintama.

Now while I was drifting further from the tenipuri fandom, I had already, long before that, drifted from the tenimyu fandom. I tried to follow that 3rd gen myus and the generations after, but I failed. I simply didn't have the enthusiasm to watch the myus anymore, seeing as the casts have changed [and it seemed to me that they were getting suckier each time.. no offence..]

The first myu I ever watched was that of Dream Live 1st. By the time I got around to watching that, the 1st gen cast had already graduated --- and I think the 2nd gen had already started rehearsals? Or maybe even performances, yeah.. But as anal as I am, I really strived to look for the 1st gen myus before venturing to the 2nd gen's.

So you can say I have a certain bias. Up till now, after seeing all the 1st gen myus [the ones available online, of course, not the actual performances] and all the 2nd gen myus and some 3rd gen, I still think that the 1st gen cast did the best job. Despite the fact that they probably have the most number of casted Ryomas, Fujis, Eijis and even Tezukas, you can't really help but love them [and of course, they have the perfect Golden Pair --- again, no offence to the fans of the other GPs..]

I held a soft spot for them for a long time, and while the prospect of a younger, [relatively fresher] batch was certainly appealing, I still would have liked for my old cast to play their characters longer. Or even until the myus ended, even.

But I guess the second cast had it's charm, and a very different one at that. It seems like majority of the fans didn't take too well with the change in casting, and according to some reports, the [early] shows of the 2nd gen weren't as popular as the first gen's. I think I even remember Kuji [or was it Kaji? Both of them, I think..] saying that they were disheartened at their first shows because there were vacant seats [read: rows] at the front, and it seemed like there were only a very few number of people interested in going..

But something happened, and the shows started picking up. A lot of comparisons were made, of course --- how the new Golden Pair just wasn't like the old one, how more Momo-ish MoriEiji was compared to Kaji, how un-Tezuka-like Shirotan was, how [messed up] the new Fuji's singing was.. stuff like that..

[notice that I didn't touch two of the major characters. :D I didn't touch Kotaro since we all know what happened to him. Kuji.. well, Kuji holds a special place in my heart, so.. :D)

But even then, I think what made the cast really shine was that they didn't give up, regardless of the negative comments. They held on to their professionalism and performed still --- and personally, I think that this characteristic of the 2nd cast earned them the fans' [new ones and old] respect, which in turn gave them this edge that fans, consciously or not, started to flock to.

When it was time for them to go, I felt really sad. For some time, I looked forward to the new cast, wondering what kind of personalities and new faces would greet us fans... but I never got around to actually fangirling over them. I guess I just kind of got turned off by the unavailability of the videos.

The point is, I had a good time with the 1st + 2nd gen, so I started looking into them more deeply. And of course, by looking deeply, I meant researching their other works, their lives, their fans.. I found a lot about the 1st gen GP, more specifically about Nagayama. :D Then, when I heard he did a movie with Aiba of 2nd gen, I flocked Aiba's fandom.

And I really didn't bother that much with the others. If someone were to be linked to Aiba because of a movie [Sukitomo], I'd flock to the person's fandom next. It was just an era of exploring for me, I think. A lot of new fandoms to try and all that. :D

Finally, I got settled with Aiba, Takumi, Nagayan and Ruito. Later I would add Shirotan, Kato and Kenta. Much later I would add Konii and Kuji. And then, much much much later, after seeing Treasure Box [and only because I heard Kuji was going to be there, hahah.. didn't even know Tuti + MoriEiji were the ones to look out for], I became a *pnish* fan. :D [and I guess I realized that Nagayan+Tuti were more than just simple friends after I delved into Tuti's life :D]

But then, the updates about these people began to slow down [I was really disheartened about Kuji's], and so my enthusiasm kind of slowed down as well. Then tenipuri ended, and I left the fandom completely. I had drifted into a new fandom [two, actually], and ever since then, I haven't really had much thought for the boys.

So why the sudden come back?

A friend kept fangirling about the Meganes albums, even asking me to show her the singles I bought from CDJapan. We talked about it a bit, and I kind of remembered the past..

So here I am, swamped with new info about two of the fandoms I've abandoned: Kujirai Kousuke + Tsuchiya Yuichi / Nagayama Takeshi. Uh. Tuti and Nagayan are considered here as a unit [or as a pair]. Well, that's a lie.. :D I actually follow them, too, as individuals, but I'm more inclined to seeing them together and fagirling about that.

And since I've been buried by all the info, I almost forgot to post this week's updates.. :D

For those who don't know this person, he is the seiyuu of Aki (Sensitive Pornograph), Hiei (Yuyu Hakusho), Ikakku Madarame (Bleach) and Jackal Kuwabara (Prince of Tennis).. Well, there's bound to be more, but I really can't be bothered to look right now, so.. ^^,

LAST FRIDAY (22) was Takumi Saito's 28th Birthday! Takumi-san.. well, I know Takumi-san from the Prince of Tennis Musicals, where he played Oshitari Yuushi (Hyotei). Also, he stars in Boys Love as Noel (co-star Kotani Yoshikazu, 2nd Cast's Kawamura), and in that other BL movie which title escapes me for the moment (co-star Kawaii Ryounosuke, the Gekokujou guy from Hyotei.. name.. name.. ack. forgot..)..

A WEEK BEFORE THAT (15) was Tachibana Kippei's (Prince of Tennis) birthday!

SIX DAYS PRIOR was Tsunade-sama's (Naruto) birthday!

According to an interview with Konomi-sensei, he planned for Fuji to transfer to Rikkai after his [unfinished] match with Echizen. This leads me to believe that Konomi-sensei either planned a) to have Fuji transfer because of his desire to fight Echizen in a proper match, b) to have Fuji transfer because of the shit he and Tezuka talked about while in the locker room, c.1) to have Fuji transfer because of some yaoi-ish shit with Echizen, or c.2) same as c.1, but with Tezuka.

Make sense..? -laughs- Well, it kind of does to me. I mean, the scenario A wouldn't really make all that much sense, but scenario B might have worked. I mean, he was already telling Tezuka to take him off the team if he ever became a hindrance.. add the fact that it seemed like he was measuring himself against Echizen, that he was somewhat comparing himself with Echizen.. What if he decided that a person with an attitude like his was no longer needed in Seigaku? What if he was convinced that Echizen could easily replace him, that Tezuka would prefer a player like Echizen, with an attitude like Echizen's, over someone who plays half-heartedly, like him..?

Manga: Volume 2 Chapter 6
I found the scanlators! YAY!


Volumes1-3 + Chapter10, if I recall right, were done by entropy. Starting from Volume 2 Chapter 6 up to the latest release - being done by raep_time.

If you guys weren't satisfied by the ending of the anime, the manga has lots more to offer. If I'm not mistaken, Volume 8 marks the last episode(s) of the anime.. so if anyone wants to continue this rather lovely (and slashy) series, go ahead and see that manga. The anime doesn't really deviate that much from the manga.. just some cut out scenes and some added ones here and there.. really sticks to the manga, as far as I can see..

I was being stupid today again. I completely laughed my ass off when I realized that the Tsudah who voiced Seto Kaiba was the same one that voiced Inui.. And that the wonderful Junko-sama shares a character with him in KHR.

They share LAMBO. OMG.

XDDDD stupid stupid stupid stupid. I'm probably the last person to react.. but I knew that Inui-seiyuu-san was voicing Lambo with Naruto's seiyuu Junko-san.. but I didn't really realize that he was the same Tsudah.. who voiced Seto Kaiba.

They share Lambo: Younger Lambo is voiced by Junko-sama (who really does a great job, considering she's voicing a bratty lil chibi.. gah. LAMBO.) and Adult Lambo is voiced by Tsudah-sama (SMEXY.)..

Trivia: Seto Kaiba was voiced by two people, Heero Yuy/Tamahome/Mira/? seiyuu Midorikawa Hikaru and Inui/Lambo/? seiyuu Tsudah Kenjiroh. For the first run of Yugioh (the one that only aired in Japan where Seto had green hair and orange eyes), it was Midorikawa-sama who voiced his character.. However, Tsudah-sama took over once the later series aired (the one that everyone got to see).

So yeah. Anyway, I already knew that Junko-san voiced Naruto (and that brat from Ouran.. the kid who commented that Haruhi is a girl in a boy's uniform), so when I heard the character song, I wasn't really surprised. I was, however, very pleasantly startled when I began hearing Tsudah-san's smexy voice. XD

And another thing.. I found out that the voice over for Dino Cavallone is Kamakari Kenta. -laughs- Oh, yes. Ken-Ken¬ and for some reason, he needed a substitute for one of the episodes, so they called KENN in. XDDDD Ahh.. tenimyu, I miss you!

And speaking of tenimyu.. There's going to be a so-called ''International Cast''.. Or was it called like that..? I'm not so sure, but the point is, the 5th Cast is going to be composed of various people of different nationalities.. err.. or something like that. I'm actually very terribly afraid. I saw the pictures, and let me tell everyone: I WAS NOT IMPRESSED. I don't want to offend the fans, but when the 3rd and 4th cast rolled in, I was already a bit disappointed (although that just may be the 1st-2nd-gen nazi in me speaking).. The 5th cast is just.. too much.


-sigh- I really miss the Prefect!Cast (1st) and the Semi-Chibified!Cast (2nd). I really really really miss them.. Although the 3rd and 4th cast performed really well, I just can't help but feel a little lonely seeing them go (past cast members) and get replaced. It's just too sad. D:


But I really think that they should already end the musicals.. I mean, it's only a matter of time before the anime ends too.. So.. yeah..

Anyway, I just saw the Filipino version of Eyeshield 21 on Studio 23.. Let me just tell everyone how sucky Hiruma sounded.. sucky, but, strangely enough, very fitting.. AND Monta's VA = likey. very much.

To other news! I have downloaded the first 10 netradio recordings of KHR. -cue fangirl mode- unyaaaa... Gokudera's seiyuu has such a sexy/smooth/rough/sexy/smokey/sexy/dreamy voice! And did I mention his voice is sexy? -laughs- BUT seriously though..

And Yamamoto (MOCCHAN!)!!! So cute! His laugh is very contagious. Just hearing him laugh... -sigh-

The two of them are so amusing! There was a part the in the 3rd issue, where Gokudera (Ichinose Hidekazu) is talking about a project (drama cd!) involving Gokudera and Yamamoto (Inoue Suguru). He is supposed to mention both Gokudera's and Yamamoto's names, but he forgets Yamamoto's, so he calls him "kimi" instead..

Yamamocchan protests, so he says Yamamoto's name ("Yamamoto Takeshi desu! Boku wa Inoue Suguru desu."), but Ichinose messes it up even worse. He actually says: "Ahhah.. Yamamoto Suguru.. Taka.. Sugurubanban.." Mocchan gets upset and says he's not Yamamoto Suguru ("Yamamoto Suguru ja nai! MOOOUU!")..

The Sugurubanban ---> Before, in the intro of the same episode, Gokudera introduces himself as Gokudera-sama, and he gives Mocchan a nickname: Sugurubanban! So, the hosts of the show are named: Gokudera-sama, Hime (Princess --> assistant-san) and Sugurubanban (Suguru actually laughs indignantly at this.. as he does with the Yamamoto Suguru thing..)

And Sugurubanban isn't the only nickname Ichinose-san has come up for Inoue-san.. He's also called him Sugurugururgu... -laughs- moooouuuu... these two are too slashy! Uwaaaaaii... I also have a picture of these two.. together.. aaaacccckkk.. here it is: CLICK ME

Speaking of PoT... I seem to be starting to get addicted to the seiyuu music.. particularly with Okiayu Ryoutaro (Tezuka) and Yuki Kaida (Fuji). I don't know why, but I just.. -sigh- I mean, when I start to hear Okiayu-sama's voice, I go all mushy!fangirly or squealy!fangirly. The same thing happens with Kaida-sama. XDDDDDD

AND! Recently, I have been downloading all of their music I can find online. It's kind of sad - I think I got into the PoT fandom a little too late. -sigh- Though the musical's still ongoing, and the Nationals (Anime) is still to conclude, I still feel as though I have missed so much..

Oh, a little bit of trivia: Kaida-sama is also Kurapika's (HunterXHunter) seiyuu. She speaks Chinese and English. Her birthyear is not disclosed to the public (and consequently, her age). She was a stage actress before, but she got turned into a seiyuu a little while after. Her normal everyday voice is so cute.. and so far from Fuji's. XD

Okiayu-sama has had many notable VA jobs. Byakuya (Bleach), Scar (FMA), Jinnai (El Hazard), Fei (Chuuka Ichiban).. others I can't remember anymore. He has a daughter (but he's divorced). He's already 38 (turning 39 this year). His normal everyday voice is so far from Tezuka's, too.


... RIGHT. Told you. Obsessed.

ANYWAY, about the thing with Vianne. Dude. I don't think I would be able to provide 1000 after all.. I am currently going through a huge financial crisis (actually, the whole family is), and I think I might have to cut the amount in half.. I'm really sorry for doing this to you.. I know I promised, and I know I'm being such an unreliable bitch for doing this, but it can't be helped.
