Anyway, I was in a group meeting earlier today.. for Orcom101. I had fun, despite feeling a little bit apprehensive since the only person I really knew told me in advance that she wasn't going to attend.

SO I attended the meeting, and we talked about a lot of things.. And as we were discussing our report, I kept on noticing that the only guy in our group was the commanding-bossy type - just like I am. I kept remembering myself, how I used to interact with my groupmates in high school and how I used to dictate people what to do about their reports.

So yeah.. All throughout the meeting, I kept on making comparisons between myself and him... which led me to wonder about his zodiac sign - if he were an Aries or not.

Being an Aries myself, I am aware of how Arieses are described as natural-born leaders, hot-headed, bossy, prideful and can be [very] overbearing. I am aware of all that, and I have this weird thing of being able to spot a fellow Aries just by the way he/she interacts with people.

So there. All throughout the meeting, I kept on thinking how to bring up the subject of his zodiac. I was really curios, almost dieing to know if I were right in my assumption that he is a fellow Aries. I decided to go about it in a very direct way - that is, by asking him in a straightforward manner.

Me: Curios lang ako ah, pero kailan ang birthday mo?
Him: '91 ako, mas bata ako sa inyo.
Me: '91 din ako. Magka-age tayo. Kelan birthday mo?
Him: April 10-
Me: OMG! O.O



Translation:

Me: I'm just curious, but when is your birthday?
Him: I was born in 1991, I'm younger than you (pertaining to the group).
Me: I was also born in 1991. We're of the same age. When's your birthday?
Him: April 10-
Me: OMG! O.O



Note that we were in Starbucks when that happened.

And the OMG! O.O part was like 10000 decibels. XDDDD


Aaaahhh.. everyone was just staring at me!

But anyway, all apprehensive feelings I had before asking that question quickly disappeared. I really have this weird soft spot for people born in April, most especially the ones born close to, if not exactly on, April 10 [which is my birthday. I realized just now that I haven't really made that clear].

Which is kind of funny, because there were some moments during our group discussion where the two of us [my birthdaymate and I] were the only ones who could understand some implicit ideas - as if we were sharing what could be considered as an inside joke.

Which is, again, kind of ironic, because I was kind of getting a sort of negative impression about him - BOSSY. God. Now I'm wondering if the people I've worked with before felt like that when I was bossing them around. XD


AND! There was another [bonus] surprise:

Me: O? Kelan ka? (Oh? When?)
Groupmate: April 9.
All: ROFLMAO


-sigh- I knew it! She had THE LOOK. THE LOOK pertaining to the look Arieses get when they get bossed around or bullied or underestimated. Or when their prides get crushed. XD I kept on noticing THE LOOK on her face everytime HE was correcting HER and/or telling HER what to do.

Goddamnit, Aries-peeps! Why haven't we met prior to this group report? We should have found each other years before! XDDDDDD
