Weekly updates! YAY!

I've been so busy with stuff. Stuff? Lots of stuff. But what stuff...? Aaah, uni related stuff, stuff that would probably bore you guys out of your minds. Anyway, I received the Gintama stuff I ordered from Animaxis. Mmhmm... or should I say I picked them up [finally!] from the post office today. Nyaaa, so many cool stuff! I took a lot of pictures, but I'm not going to post them here. :D Go visit my LJ to see them, mmkay? :D

So last week I forgot to come back and update the Eyeshield21 post. I think I labeled it incorrectly, too. It's supposed to be 308th DOWN already, but I think I wrote 307th. Galeaya is such a loser with a short attention span... -wink-

Aaaargh, BLEACH?! What the hell is with the short and useless chapters!? It's been going on for a long while now, these short and useless chapters. Come on! This is so unfair, the fans want more substantial releases! I mean, sure, Yama-jii finally gets off his pretty wrinkled ass and fights, but can we really call that an improvement in itself? That's just.. just.. AAAARRRGH.

This would totally only take about 5 minutes in the manga. Seriously. -sigh- I want more Bleach!


This week we find out that Kira used to be in the 4th Division. Which is nothing surprising, really. It seemed like something natural to me, actually. And Shuuhei! Such an idiot! Did you really think that you could win by yourself?! Fuck. Ugh. You're so dead, boy. I just know it. So broken and dead. What would Kinsei say when he sees you?!

Last [last] week I was left thinking about how Naruto could do the sage thing perfectly. I was stumped, of course, but after rewatching some old[er] Naruto Shippuden episodes, I was left with a weird thought. What if he used Kage Bunshin? I wasn't sure how that would help, but he only needed to have someone else be the lookout, right? Since the sage thing demands a lot of his concentration, he'd have to merge with the frog [with the frog becoming his "senses"]. With the Kage Bunshin I wasn't sure how it'll work, but I thought Naruto would definitely work something out...

I'm not really into the Vampire-Gothic-Church thing, but I just couldn't stay away from this series. Hanami [scanlator] was right in saying that it's almost yaoi. Almost. But, fuck, it's as good as. Really. XD

The series is about a priest who is a vampire hunter, all the while being a vampire himself. He calls the person who turned him Master, and he.. feeds on Master's blood in order not to further commit sin against God. Basically, one of the "antagonists" is some sort of Incubus with an unhealthy obssession with Master. And of course, some secret organization with all its mysteries and the conspiracies with the police, etc. You have this sort of mysterious and exciting aura going on, with all the right amountss of humor and [boy] smex. What more could you ask for?

This is not really a good summary, but it's a start. The fandom is fairly small, I think. Want to become a fan? Go ahead and click on the links. You'd probably like this if you liked Trinity Blood [a lot of key similarities, I tell you... like how the protagonist kind of reminds people of Tres.. :D], Blood+ and Full Metal Alchemist [to some extent.. :D]

I can't really say if the plot will be good, seeing as there's only been 9 chapters scanlated as of 12-2008. However, with the few chapters available, I can already say that this series CAN be a big hit, provided some big shot magazine decides to produce it weekly or monthly. [Currently, it's production is very irregular because of the minimal audience response/demand.]
